I have officially made a new blog for pictures only. Now that I'm participating in the Friday Shoot-Out, I wanted to keep both my blogs separate. I also have new pictures on there from Martin's senior pictures so check those out!

2 More Days!!!

Wow it's been a while since I was last on here but for good reason. I have been in school for the last 5 weeks 4 days a week =/ Yet I will be ending in 2 days, which makes me very happy! Well since last time I went to Martin's prom, celebrated his TWO, yes two, birthday parties, and oh yeah I got a haircut ;) It's amazing since it's exactly what I wanted and nothing more or less. Besides that nothing else new, just excited for summer to OFFICIALLY begin for me! I'm having the guys over tomorrow to swim, and I'm hoping sometime this summer I would want to have a pool party with close friends and classmates :) Well okay there's only two I made friendships with but that's besides the point lol. Oh yeah I started going on Facebook again and I must admit it does have some perks that Myspace can't compete with. If you want heres my link: www.facebook.com/100casper. Just another "pre-summer" week...

Well I'll be heading back to school tomorrow but a re-cap of my week:

I had a pretty productive week off if I do say so myself.
For one, I had MORE than enough sleep for a week :) Never a bad thing.
Secondly, as I read Jen's blog I notice her love of squirrel's and I had the same thought as my dad...WHERE THE HELL ARE OUR SQUIRRELS?!?!?!?! They haven't been around the house, or the neighborhood for that matter (and our neighborhood is quite crowded with them).
Additionally, on Tuesday I made a trip out to Universal Mall and walked around and took pictures of the construction site!
Lastly, celebrating my two-year anniversary with Martin was nothing short of amazing :) Had my first sub (I know...), he completed my collection of Britney CD's with In The Zone :D, and we both enjoy our engraved silver rings with "Brittany (heart) Martin" and vise-versa on his!

Old Memories...

This reminds me of my favorite summer...2005. I had an Xanga blog, no readers except some camp friends, and constantly wrote in it. Now I read back on them every blue moon just to see how things were back then. I know we can't go in the past, but that summer will always have a place in my heart, and how no other summer can replace it. Now four years later I will once again embark on a new summer, wondering how this one will be spent. Each summer afterwards never seemed to top 2005, but each one did have something special about it I will never forget. 2006 was the "summer of the crew". AKA: I hung out with the same group of friends every week, and the Polish Festival that year was the best one yet. 2007 was the summer of Martin. We just started going out, and that summer was 80% spent with him. I got to know his family and more importantly, himself. Yet sadly it wasn't a great summer. Samantha wouldn't talk to me for that entire summer, and was mad at Vince because of what happened at Snowcoming those few months before. Yet just last summer it was all coming together. In '06 I spent it with friends. '07 was with Martin. So to make '08 special was bringing the two past summers together and finally bond together. This summer, besides the fact that I'm taking a math course until the end of June, I'm hoping will have that special something in it to make it worth while. So while I have this "mini-summer" this week (until the day after Memorial Day) I hope to get out and explore my town a little. In order to have fun it just depends on how you spend it.
